Their story is one of excess, irreverence and rebellion—with a wake of triumphs and tragedies that put snowboarding on the map of the mainstream.

But that's not the real story here. In the present day, as these iconic teenagers are now nearing their 60s, they have the benefit of hindsight and years of introspection. What made them turn to a lifestyle that is so self-destructive? What formed this bond they all share that's lasted through 30+ years of friendship?
